A Little History...

I first went to Ecuador in Spring of '07 with Franciscan University of Steubenville. At this time, I was studying for my Masters in Counseling. As a part of the Medical Mission, I was particularly struck by the psychological, emotional and spiritual dimensions of poverty, which are often overlooked.
The people of Ecuador completely captured my heart and I returned to live in Quito for two months in the Summer of '07, and then led the brand-new "Formative Mission" to Ecuador for FUS students in Summer '08.

Having finished my Masters in Counseling in 2008, I anxiously returned to the country and the people that had indeed, become very dear to me. I have now been a volunteer with CMMB for almost two years here in Ecuador. The majority of this time I have been involved with a foundation called Santa Maria del Fiat. I have been blessed with endless opportunities to use my education to serve Christ in the poor - from embracing orphans and employing play therapy to individual and group counseling for troubled teenagers, broken families, terminally ill patients and in the present moment, as a school psychologist.

Please keep myself, and the Ecuadorian people in your prayers - without God we can do nothing.

Mother Teresa once said:

"Let us more and more insist on raising funds of love, of kindness, of understanding, of peace. Money will come if we seek first the Kingdom of God - the rest will be given."

I am seeking God's kingdom, and I trust that the rest will be provided.

If you should feel called to aid in my mission with a financial gift, you may do so through this website...and I am sure that you will be infinitely blessed for your generosity.

Gracias y que Dios les bendiga!
(Thanks and may God bless you all!!)
